About Us

more than a school...

We're a Family.

Pastor Caleb Martin

Nestled on approximately thirty acres on the outskirts of Bogalusa, Ben’s Ford Christian School (BFCS), a ministry of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church, began when God placed the desire to start a Christian school into the heart of Pastor Lynn Martin in 1976.

Over the years, God has grown the ministry of BFCS from primarily serving church families and their children to enrolling students from two states. The school now welcomes students in PreK-3 through 12th grades. From twenty students in 1983 to almost 400 students today, God has blessed BFCS more than we could ever ask or think.

Today, Pastor Caleb Martin, a graduate of BFCS, leads the school forward. Currently, in addition to a college preparatory curriculum and multiple career pathways curricula, we offer an athletics program that includes football, cheerleading, boys' and girls' basketball, baseball, softball, golf, track, and cross country. Student academic achievement and service are celebrated by the National Beta Club, the MAIS Honor Club, the National Honor Society, and the National 4-H Club. Participation in the arts and service to the community are encouraged through multiple individual and schoolwide opportunities.

Whatever your interests, there is a place for you here at Ben's Ford Christian School.
